When Success Starts Working Against You.

Working with Mila during this change has been one of the most grounding, insightful, and developmental experiences of my journey.

From our very first introductory conversation, Mila created structure, clarity, and intentionality around the process. She approached my transition holistically, helping me navigate not only career positioning and professional growth, but also purpose, identity, values, mindset, awareness, and the internal shifts required to step confidently into this new chapter. She helped me consolidate years of international experience while translating it meaningfully into a European context, without losing the essence of who I am and the value I bring. Together, we explored strengths, competencies, belief systems, blind spots, emotional intelligence, performance habits, and the patterns that shape how we show up in the workplace and in life and much more.

This was feedback I received back in 2023, shortly after I moved from a country role into a regional one. I had big shoes to fill (and, to be honest, at the time I was still checking whether they actually fit), the feedback struck a chord because I knew there was truth in it.

Believing that investing in yourself usually pays the best interest, I decided to work with Milagros in a Personal Leadership Development Coaching trajectory — and I’m really glad I did.

Since then, things have felt different in practice: from facilitating sessions with senior leaders to building and leading a team. The feedback I receive these days is that my leadership feels calm, supportive and effective, sometimes summed up as “gentle leadership”.

The biggest change, however, has been internal. Over the past year, I’ve built the inner calm and confidence needed to show up as a more strategic and impactful leader.
