MEET MILAGROS
M
y work today is built on a belief I have carried throughout my life:
When we understand ourselves more deeply, we create the freedom to choose how we lead, respond and grow.
I was born in Peru and moved to the Netherlands at a young age. Growing up between different cultures shaped the way I see the world. Adapting to new environments, understanding different perspectives and connecting with people from diverse backgrounds became a natural part of who I am.
Curiosity has always been one of my greatest drivers. I am fascinated by what shapes people — their choices, motivations, beliefs and the stories they carry. I have always been drawn to meaningful conversations that reveal what lies beneath the surface.
Throughout my life, people have naturally turned to me for perspective and support. Friends, family and colleagues often sought my guidance because I have an ability to listen deeply, create trust and help people see possibilities when they feel uncertain.
Over time, I realised that what came naturally to me was also the foundation of my professional calling: helping people understand themselves, recognise their strengths and create meaningful change.
From Corporate Experience to Executive Transformation
Before becoming an executive mentor, I spent many years working within international organisations and financial institutions in roles spanning communications, operations and executive support. These experiences gave me a unique perspective into leadership from the inside.
Working closely with senior leaders, I witnessed the complexity of leadership at the highest levels — navigating competing priorities, organisational change, pressure and responsibility.
I saw the qualities that create success: ambition, resilience, commitment and high standards.
But I also observed something important:
The qualities that create success can sometimes become the patterns that limit it.
Determination can become relentless pressure.
Responsibility can become carrying too much.
High standards can become perfectionism.
Self-reliance can become doing everything alone.
This understanding is not only something I observed in others. It is also part of my own journey.
Losing my mother when I was seventeen shaped my understanding of resilience, perspective and inner strength. It taught me early that life can change unexpectedly, and that while we cannot always choose what happens to us, we can choose how we respond.
Years later, when a reorganisation at ING Group made my position redundant, I experienced another moment of transition.
Rather than seeing it only as a setback, I recognised it as an opportunity to reflect on what I truly wanted to create next.
That moment became a turning point.
It gave me the courage to move beyond what was familiar, invest in my own development and follow the work I had always been naturally drawn towards: helping people gain clarity, understand themselves more deeply and transform the patterns that shape their lives and leadership.
My own transformation reinforced something I now see repeatedly in my work with executives:
Awareness is the beginning of meaningful change.
Why I Work With Leaders
There is another reason I chose to work with accomplished leaders, founders and professionals.
Leadership is a position of influence.
The way a leader thinks, interprets situations, makes decisions and responds under pressure does not only affect them. It shapes the people around them — their teams, their organisations and the cultures they create.
This is why I believe transforming one leader can create a ripple effect far beyond that individual.
When a leader develops greater self-awareness, begins seeing situations from new perspectives and responds from a more conscious place, the external circumstances may remain the same — but everything changes because they are no longer operating from the same internal patterns.
A leader once shared something with me that has stayed with me:
“Because of our work together, my perception has changed about certain situations, even though the situations themselves have not changed. I now see them differently, and therefore I respond differently.”
That is where meaningful transformation begins.
Not always by changing what happens around us, but by changing the way we understand, interpret and respond to what happens.
When leaders become more aware of themselves, they create the conditions for others to do the same. They lead with greater authenticity, build stronger relationships, make clearer decisions and create environments where people can recognise and develop their own potential.
This is the ripple effect I care about.
By supporting leaders who influence others, I contribute to something larger: helping people become more fully who they are capable of becoming.
My Approach
Through my training in Executive Coaching, NLP and Jungian Psychology, combined with my corporate experience and personal journey, I developed the approach I bring to my work today.
I help leaders understand the operating system beneath their leadership — the beliefs, behavioural patterns and internal responses that influence how they think, decide and lead.
Because lasting transformation does not begin with simply changing behaviour.
It begins with awareness. Awareness creates choice. Choice creates transformation.
Today, I work with accomplished leaders who recognise that their next stage of growth requires something deeper than the strategies and behaviours that created their previous success.
They are ready to understand themselves more deeply, transform patterns that no longer serve them and lead with greater clarity, confidence and authenticity.
My approach combines psychological insight, behavioural transformation, executive coaching expertise and a deep respect for the complexity of being human.
The work is personal. The conversations are honest. The space is confidential.
Grounded. Discreet. Practical. Transformation-focused.
Because the most powerful leaders are not those who simply achieve more.
They are those who understand themselves deeply enough to lead in a way that is aligned with who they truly are — and who they are becoming.
The most meaningful transformations often begin with a moment of curiosity: a willingness to look more deeply at how you think, respond and lead.
If you recognise that your next stage of growth requires more than additional skills or strategies, I invite you to begin with a conversation.
Together, we can explore what is shaping your leadership today and what becomes possible when you transform the patterns beneath it.
